welcome to the funky tulip
hey, look! something shiny!
I love color and I love glass.
I make (myself, by hand) glass beads, fused glass pendants and glass plates and dishes. I've taken two lampworking classes (thanks, Stephanie Maddalena!), but mostly, I've taught myself. The magic of what happens to glass in fire and heat continues to fascinate me. I'm never quite sure what I'll end up with at the end. But whatever I've ended up with, I've put here.
We all need a creative outlet. Playing with fire and glass, and sometimes wire and stones is my avocation, and a conscious decision to engage in creativity and learn and experiment. This website is a place where I can show and tell about those efforts, and, I hope, a place for you to find a little something to brighten your day or make you smile.
Click on the links to see examples of what I've made. You can also go directly to my Etsy shop by clicking here. I also sell at Ally Bally Bee, a new local artisan co-op in Rdidgefield, Connecticut.
